Jason Harper is an Emmy award-winning writer, producer/director with a proven success in developing & delivering captivating story content for the world of entertainment.

Specializing in children's & family entertainment, Jason’s career has included the creation and production of the #1 rated children’s show in television history, “Slimetime Live”, which ran for 7 seasons on Viacom’s Nickelodeon, domestically and in 14 other countries.

Other networks and television shows for which Jason has produced/directed include: “60 Days In” (A&E), “Modern Marvels” Series, “Food Tech” and “America’s Book of Secrets” (History Channel), “The Biggest Loser” (NBC), “They Ex & the Why” and “Road Rules” (MTV), “Hogan Knows Best” (VH1), “Tailgate Warriors w/ Guy Fieri” (Food Network), “Double Dare” (Nickelodeon), “Hey Arnold!” (Nickelodeon) and his most recent children’s educational show, “Explorer Academy Adventures” (National Geographic).

Jason was also Director of Production and Writer for several live event touring shows & experiential tours: “Marvel Universe Live”, “Jurassic World Live”, “Transformers” and National Geographic’s “Beyond King Tut – The Immersive Experience” (currently on tour).

As a part of his work as an Executive Producer/Partner for Harper Register, Jason holds ongoing project-based roles as an Executive Producer & Writer for National Geographic and as a Creative Director for the Walt Disney Company.

He is a long-time advisor to the Los Angeles School of Film, an active member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, and the Chairman / CEO of Ukrainian Project Fund, a non-profit organization that provides orphanage facilities, medical supplies and fights human trafficking for the young people of Ukraine.

Tim Register Tim was born to evangelical missionary parents in 1964 and spent his formative years as a missionary’s kid in Latin America. His parents Joe and Maggie were pioneers in Christian broadcasting, implementing radio and television programming in Chile and Paraguay that would later reach the Spanish speaking world internationally beginning in the late 1970s. His Mother Maggie is a published author and motivational speaker.

Tim’s first paid job at the age of 15 was as a camera operator for church broadcasts in central Florida and on his family’s award winning Spanish children’s television program Lugar Secreto, a series he was directing by the age of 16.

Tim earned his bachelor’s degree, (a double major in TV Production and Theatre Production) from Evangel University in 1987. He would later, at the age of 50 earn his MFA from Savannah College of Art and Design. His career has included work as a camera operator, director, technical director, floor manager, writer and lighting director in television; a writer, camera operator, gaffer, director and director of photography in film style productions for documentaries, commercials and short subject films.

Inspired by the life of his maternal grandfather, Tim created, wrote and directed a television series about a circuit preacher in the 1930s. PREACH has been sold to a distributor.

Before joining forces with his now business partner Jason Harper, Tim worked several years as an assistant professor of Film and TV Production where he headed the Film Department at Florida Southern College in Lakeland Florida. He resides in Lakeland with his wife, Andrea, and their two dogs. They have two grown daughters, one an architect and the other a captain in the US Air Force.
